Rain extends southeastward towards the coast, affecting areas east of Syracuse while cloud cover is evident over Albany. Clear conditions prevail over New York City and Philadelphia, bringing a period of relief there. Washington remains dry, under mostly clear skies as storms continue to push away toward the Atlantic.
This evening in New York City, temperatures will be mild, starting at 79 degrees at 9 PM and gently settling to 78 degrees by 1 AM.
