The Southwest region is experiencing scattered showers primarily concentrated from Cedar City down towards Flagstaff, with rain moving eastward. Slight cloud cover is found over Reno, but areas like Las Vegas and Ely remain dry. San Francisco and along the central California coast appear clear as clouds are not present. High pressure over the region keeps Los Angeles and San Diego sunny and warm.
In Salt Lake City this evening, expect cloudy skies as temperatures gradually decrease from 83 degrees at 9 PM to 76 degrees by 1 AM. Winds will remain light, coming from the south-southeast at 8 miles per hour for most of the evening, shifting slightly east-southeast by 11 PM. The cloud cover will continue to prevail into the night, creating a cozy, overcast atmosphere in the region.
Tonight in the Southwest, temperatures will dip significantly with Albuquerque reaching a low of 50 degrees. Phoenix will remain warmer at 66, while Las Vegas cools down to 78. Flagstaff is expected to see a brisk 51 degrees, and Reno drops to 50.
