Meanwhile, some scattered showers are visible off the coast of Florida near Miami and Tampa, with a few showers potentially reaching inland areas. The rest of the region, including cities like Atlanta and Montgomery, remains dry and clear for now.
Temperatures this afternoon in Miami linger around 86 degrees, with a light east-southeast wind at 10 miles per hour. Scattered thunderstorms are expected, so keep an umbrella handy.
