Miami and the southern part of Florida are experiencing scattered rain showers. In Louisiana, Shreveport is on the edge of rain bands, while parts of eastern Texas near Houston are receiving intermittent showers. The conditions are mostly clear elsewhere in the Southeast, with Memphis and Atlanta currently under dry, mostly clear skies.
Expect a stormy afternoon in Miami with temperatures starting at 82 degrees. Winds will shift from the south at 9 miles per hour, bringing heavy thunderstorms that could impact outdoor plans. By 6 PM, temperatures will slightly cool to 79 degrees under continued rain as winds turn west-southwest at 8 miles per hour. By 8 PM, prepare for a few showers with temperatures at 77 degrees and winds from the west-northwest at 5 miles per hour.
Today’s regional high temperatures in the Southeast are heating up as summer rolls in. Atlanta will reach a high of 94 degrees, while Montgomery is expected to see similar warmth at 94 as well.
