Nashville will enjoy a warm day at 90 degrees, and over in New Orleans, temperatures will peak at 85. Shreveport will hit a high of 94 degrees, reflecting the continued heat wave impacting the Southeast.

By the afternoon, expect storms in areas like New Orleans and Jacksonville with potential gusty winds and localized downpours.
