A calm weather pattern is evident across much of the Southern Plains. However, there is some rain activity around El Paso, bringing much-needed moisture to the region. Spotty showers are also developing west of San Antonio. Farther southeast, rainfall is brushing past Corpus Christi, but the rest of the area remains predominantly clear.
Evening in Austin brings mostly cloudy skies with temperatures starting at 88 degrees at 9 PM, cooling to 81 degrees by 1 AM. Winds will be from the south-southeast at 10 miles per hour, decreasing slightly to 9 miles per hour. Expect partly cloudy conditions as the evening progresses.
Tonight in the Southern Plains, temperatures will remain mild, with Dallas dipping to 75 degrees. Expect a low of 77 in San Antonio and 79 in Corpus Christi. Midland will see a cooler 74 degrees, while El Paso settles at 72. Little Rock is expected to cool down to 76 degrees.

A cold front is making its way through the Southern Plains, bringing scattered thunderstorms from Oklahoma City to Midland, Texas. As the front continues eastward, rain showers are likely to extend towards Little Rock and Jackson by tomorrow evening.
