Los Angeles Tomorrow Morning News – 08/11/2025: As you step out, expect partly clouded skies transitioning to a sparkling sunny day. The Southwest enjoys a mix of weather with the nearby regions varying temperatures and conditions. From LA’s balmy 67-degree noon to Las Vegas’s scorching 112 degrees, discover how the shifting weather can shape your week ahead.
The Southwest region is experiencing a mix of weather patterns this evening. Showers stretch along the coast from San Francisco down to Los Angeles, providing some relief from dry conditions. Farther inland, light rain is reaching areas near Flagstaff, while Las Vegas remains dry despite nearby cloud cover. To the north, Ely and Cedar City are witnessing cloudy conditions, though no precipitation is currently noted.
Expect a partly cloudy start to tomorrow morning in Los Angeles, with temperatures around 63 degrees at 8 AM and 10 AM. A gentle southeast breeze at 3 mph will create a pleasant feel to the morning. By noon, skies will clear to mostly sunny conditions, and temperatures will rise to 67 degrees.
Tomorrow, highs in the Southwest soar, with Las Vegas reaching a scorching 112 degrees. Phoenix is also expected to be hot at 111 degrees, while Flagstaff will be significantly cooler at 88 degrees. Bakersfield and Fresno will both see highs of 104 degrees, indicating a continued warm trend for Southern California. San Diego remains mild at 76 degrees, offering a respite from the region’s heat.
A clear and sunny day is expected across the desert areas of the Southwest. Coastal zones in Southern California, however, could see overcast skies with isolated showers developing towards the afternoon. Pay close attention to mountain areas as increasing cloudiness could lead to periods of rain later in the day, causing potentially slick conditions on passes. Temperatures remain relatively stable, ranging from the mid-60s along the coast to the upper 80s in the desert. No severe weather is anticipated in the region for the next 48 hours.
The UV index in Los Angeles is at an extreme level of 10 today and tomorrow, posing a sun exposure risk with a burn time of just 12 minutes.
