Across the Southwest, the radar shows a mix of cloud cover and clear conditions. In northern Nevada near Ely, skies are looking clear with no significant weather activity. Over in the higher elevations of the Sierra Nevada, near Reno and extending towards Redding, we observe some light rain showers moving through. San Francisco and the California coastline appear to be dry, with Phoenix, Flagstaff, and Las Vegas also experiencing calm weather conditions. Salt Lake City and its surroundings are bracing for scattered rain showers.
For this evening in Los Angeles, temperatures will start at 76 degrees at 9 PM, dropping to 68 degrees by 11 PM, and settling at 65 degrees by 1 AM. Winds will be light, blowing from the south-southeast at 4 to 7 miles per hour.
Tonight, the Southwest will experience some notable temperature drops. Expect a chilly 33 degrees in Ely, while Flagstaff will cool down to 45 degrees. Las Vegas stays relatively mild at 65 degrees, but Los Angeles will dip to 52. Bakersfield will be at 54 degrees, and Fresno is projected to cool to 50. San Francisco will have a low of 51 degrees.
