In the Southwest region, the radar is mostly calm, with some areas experiencing light precipitation. Salt Lake City is seeing a light dusting of snow, with flurries extending towards nearby mountain ranges. Ely and Cedar City have a mix of rain and snow, creating potentially slippery conditions on roads. Redding is seeing some rain showers moving in from the west, while Reno remains clear. Areas like Las Vegas and Phoenix, as well as much of California, are enjoying dry and clear conditions.
This evening in Los Angeles, temperatures will start at 67 degrees at 9 PM, dropping to 62 degrees by 1 AM. Expect mostly sunny conditions transitioning to mostly clear skies later tonight. Winds will be coming from the south-southwest at 7 mph before calming to 3 mph. Partly cloudy skies will settle in after midnight.
Tonight Las Vegas will see a low of 71 degrees, while Flagstaff will drop to a chilly 43 degrees. Expect San Francisco to cool down to 50 degrees, and Fresno will rest at 57. Bakersfield is forecasted to see a low of 59 degrees. Los Angeles and San Diego are also expected to settle at 59 degrees.
Tomorrow Phoenix is set to hit a scorching 100 degrees, while Las Vegas follows closely with a high of 98 degrees. In California, Bakersfield will reach 82 degrees, and Fresno will warm up to 84 degrees. Coastal areas like San Diego will stay cooler at 70 degrees, and San Francisco will only reach 62 degrees.
