A line of severe storms is stretching from Houston along the Gulf Coast heading eastward toward New Orleans, promising heavy downpours and potential wind gusts. Around Shreveport, additional intense storms are developing as part of this active weather system. Parts of northern Mississippi, including areas around Memphis, and stretching through to Charlotte, are experiencing continuous rain, indicating a soggy day ahead. A mix of rain and clouds is blanketing Atlanta, suggesting a wet commute for the morning. Southern areas like Miami and Tampa are enjoying clear skies with no significant weather disturbances in sight.
Tomorrow morning in Atlanta kicks off sunny and bright. Temperatures begin at 61 degrees at 8 AM, rising to 68 by 10 AM. Expect a gentle breeze with winds from the west-northwest at 8 to 11 miles per hour. By midday, the warmth continues as temperatures reach 74 degrees, under clear skies.

A cold front is advancing from Louisiana into Mississippi overnight, bringing the potential for strong thunderstorms. Expect heavy rain and gusty winds, particularly in western Alabama by Thursday morning. The heaviest downpours are likely along the Gulf Coast, increasing the risk of localized flooding. As the front moves eastward, storms could reach Georgia and Florida, where scattered showers persist. Following the storms, temperatures are set for a brief drop, offering cooler conditions throughout the region.
