A robust storm system is currently sweeping through the Northeast, with moderate to heavy rain dominating areas from Syracuse through Albany and extending into Boston. New York City and Philadelphia are experiencing overcast skies as the rain approaches. This moisture-laden system is moving northeastward, drenching northern New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania. Pittsburgh and Buffalo are mostly clear, though isolated showers are developing west of Scranton. Seattle-like drizzle is settling in over Washington, with clear conditions extending toward the middle of the state.
Tomorrow morning in New York City, temperatures begin at 55 degrees at 8 AM with a west wind at 9 miles per hour and partly cloudy skies.
