Additionally, severe weather is anticipated, especially across central Florida, which could bring intense downpours.
For this evening in Atlanta, temperatures will remain stable, starting at 72 degrees at 9 PM and slightly dipping to 70 degrees by 1 AM. Expect consistent cloud cover throughout the evening with a mild easterly breeze, starting at 8 miles per hour and diminishing to 6 miles per hour by late night.
Tonight, Memphis will dip to 74 degrees, while Nashville cools down to a comfortable 71. Shreveport is expecting a low of 76. In Mississippi, Jackson will experience a low of 73. The temperatures are milder than usual across the Southeast, with Savannah and Jacksonville both hitting 71 degrees, and Tampa slightly warmer at 76.
Tomorrow, Memphis will see a high of 87 degrees, while Nashville reaches 88. Jackson is expected to soar to 91 degrees, and New Orleans will warm up to 88 degrees as well. In Florida, Tampa is forecasted to hit 90 degrees, with Jacksonville following closely at 84 degrees.
A cold front will move across the Southeast, leading to active weather patterns. Expect scattered thunderstorms from Houston to New Orleans on Tuesday evening, with the possibility of severe weather. By Wednesday morning, the front progresses toward Atlanta and Montgomery, bringing thunderstorms during the commute. Heavy showers are anticipated along the Gulf Coast from Tampa to the Florida Panhandle, potentially causing localized flooding. Winds could gust significantly along this frontal boundary, with clear skies following the passage bringing cooler and more stable conditions.
