Heavy rain is currently drenching Jackson, moving eastward towards Atlanta. Along the Gulf Coast, scattered showers are occurring around New Orleans, while areas such as Charlotte and Jacksonville are witnessing clearer skies.
This evening in Atlanta, temperatures will start at 73 degrees at 9 PM with isolated thunderstorms likely. By 11 PM, rain continues while temperatures dip to 69 degrees with a southwest wind at 6 mph.
