Afternoon high temperatures are looking warm across the Northeast today. Buffalo is expected to reach a high of 78 degrees, making it the warm spot in the region, while Syracuse will hit 72. In contrast, further south, New York City sees a comfortable 66 degrees, and Philadelphia is a bit cooler at 64. Scranton, sitting at 65, rounds out the mid-tier temperatures. Meanwhile, Boston and Portland remain on the chillier side, both only reaching 63 degrees this afternoon.
Tonight in the Northeast, Boston is expected to cool down to 57 degrees. New York City will see a low of 63, while Philadelphia temperatures will drop to 61 degrees. Scranton should expect 60, with Syracuse at 64 degrees.
Tomorrow in the Northeast, temperatures will be quite warm, with several cities reaching above average for this time of year. Buffalo and Pittsburgh are both expected to hit a high of 80 degrees, while Syracuse and Albany will see 77 degrees. New York City and Philadelphia will experience milder temperatures, both around 70 degrees. Boston will maintain cooler conditions with a high of 67 degrees, and Portland will be the coolest at 66 degrees.
Tomorrow, the Northeast will experience scattered rain showers, particularly impacting areas from Philadelphia to New York City. Expect these showers to persist into the afternoon, with a potential for localized downpours, especially in the Pennsylvania and New Jersey regions. Temperatures will remain in the mid-70s, providing a milder backdrop to the wet weather. As the day progresses, rain may extend northward towards Albany and western portions of New England.
