Over in Florida, Tampa is warmer at 93 degrees, and Jacksonville isn’t far behind with a high of 91. Meanwhile, Savannah is expected to climb to 92 degrees, making it one of the hottest spots in the region today.
Tonight, Memphis will cool down to 71 degrees, while Nashville is expecting a low of 72. Jackson will see temperatures dropping to 73 degrees, and Montgomery is forecasted to reach 72. Further south, New Orleans will remain mild at 77 degrees, while Miami holds the warmest spot at 80.
Tomorrow, Atlanta will reach a high of 88 degrees, while Nashville is slightly cooler at 89. In the heart of Mississippi, Jackson anticipates a warm 90 degrees, with New Orleans not far behind at 88. Shreveport is looking at a hot 93, with Houston at 91 degrees. The Florida coast will bask in even warmer conditions, with Tampa hitting 94 degrees and Miami expected to reach 88.
A warm front is set to lift through the Southeast tomorrow, bringing widespread showers and thunderstorms from New Orleans to Atlanta. Expect potential severe weather, particularly from Mississippi to Alabama, where high humidity increases instability. These storms could produce heavy rainfall and gusty winds, leading to localized flooding risks, particularly in low-lying areas. Temperatures will remain warm, with highs in the mid to upper 80s. Following the front, drier conditions are anticipated, but be prepared for another rain event later in the week.
