Across the Southwest region, the radar reveals a dynamic mix of weather conditions. Cedar City, Utah, is under cloud cover with a chill in the air.
The northern portions of Utah have mixed skies with clear skies taking over tonight. In Northern California, Redding is experiencing rain showers which are moving southeastward, offering a refreshing break to the region. Farther south, San Francisco is seeing scattered light to moderate rainfall. Bakersfield is enjoying a mild evening with no precipitation, while Fresno is also mostly clear.
Las Vegas remains dry, offering clear skies over the city, and Flagstaff, Arizona, is on the brink of some expected snow showers with a cool night ahead.
This evening in Salt Lake City, temperatures taper from 71 degrees at 8 PM down to 60 degrees by midnight. Northwest winds shift to the east-southeast at 7 to 9 miles per hour.
Now for the low temperatures in the Southwest region tonight. Flagstaff can expect a colder night with a low of 39. Las Vegas stays relatively mild at 62 degrees, but you’ll feel the cooler air in Cedar City, where temperatures will dip to 47. Los Angeles is forecasted to be at 53 degrees, and San Diego will be slightly warmer at 55.

Las Vegas is also heating up, with temperatures reaching 85 degrees. Over in Bakersfield, the afternoon high will be 78 degrees, while Fresno will see a warm 76 degrees.

The Central Valley may see localized flooding and strong gusty winds. In Southern California, scattered showers impact the coastal range and San Bernardino Mountains, making travel potentially hazardous through higher elevations. The valleys will stay dry and breezy. This front will push farther southeast by late Wednesday, bringing cloud cover and a dip in temperatures across Arizona and Nevada while leaving most of the desert southwest dry.”
