The Southwest region is witnessing different weather scenarios as evidenced by the regional radar. The mountains around Salt Lake City are seeing unseasonable scattered snow showers. Light precipitation is making its way across Ely, with snowflakes fluttering down in the area. Cedar City is experiencing a mix of rain and snow, creating slick conditions. Meanwhile, over in the Golden State, Los Angeles and San Diego are enjoying sunshine. Expect a mostly cloudy start to your morning in Salt Lake City, with temperatures beginning at 46 degrees at 8 AM. Winds will be gentle from the south-southeast at 6 miles per hour. By 10 AM, temperatures rise slightly to 47 degrees with clouds lingering. Late morning sees temperatures climbing to 50 degrees with a shift to a west-northwest breeze at 9 miles per hour. Tomorrow in Phoenix, expect a sizzling high of 91 degrees, while Las Vegas heats up to 87 degrees. Bakersfield will reach 87 degrees, and Fresno is expected to see a high of 86 degrees. Coastal temperatures are milder, with Los Angeles at 73 degrees and San Diego slightly cooler at 69 degrees. In the Southwest, a tranquil weather pattern continues with mostly clear skies and mild temperatures. The desert regions will remain dry and sunny, providing pleasant weather for outdoor activities. Coastal areas, however, might experience increasing cloudiness tonight with chances of light showers by tomorrow afternoon, especially in southern parts. No significant temperature changes are expected, with daytime highs remaining comfortable.
