A cold front is advancing from the west, bringing thunderstorms to Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama overnight. Expect strong storms to move into the Atlanta area by early Wednesday morning; the morning commute might be impacted. From New Orleans to Montgomery, Tuesday night will feature heavy rainfall and potential localized flooding. High temperatures will drop slightly, bringing relief from the recent heat. Keep an eye on approaching storms, especially for areas from Jacksonville to Savannah, where the weather will turn stormy by midday Wednesday.
