A weather system is bringing rain to the southeastern coast of Florida, including Miami and Jacksonville, with isolated spots of severe weather anticipated. Savannah and Jacksonville are experiencing rain showers, with rain expected to move gradually inland. Montgomery and Atlanta enjoy dry skies, but cloud cover is increasing in those areas. Shreveport and Houston remain unaffected by this precipitation and are experiencing clear conditions at the moment.
For this evening in Atlanta, expect mostly clear skies transitioning to partly cloudy as the night progresses. Temperatures will gradually decrease from 72 degrees at 8 PM to 67 degrees by midnight. Winds will remain gentle from the southeast at around 5 to 6 miles per hour.
Tonight in Memphis will register a low of 66 degrees, while Nashville drops to 63. In Atlanta, temperatures will fall to 62 degrees, and Jacksonville will also see a low of 64. Montgomery will experience a chillier night at 66 degrees. Savannah will be the coldest among the listed cities, with a low of 62 degrees.
High temperatures tomorrow in the Southeast indicate a warm and elevated trend.
