As a cold front pushes through, we’re seeing a mix of significant rainfall and thunderstorms across the region, affecting your plans from morning commutes to late afternoons. As we look at the Southeast Regional Radar, showers and thunderstorms are concentrated along the Gulf Coast. Houston is seeing significant rainfall spreading towards New Orleans, with some heavy bands moving inland. Jackson and Shreveport are currently experiencing light to moderate rain showers. The eastern Carolinas are experiencing scattered showers moving northeast, affecting areas like Charlotte. Coastal cities like Savannah and Jacksonville are mostly dry with clouds starting to gather.
