The Southeast region is experiencing relatively calm weather with only a few isolated areas of activity. Rain showers are currently underway off the coast of Florida, moving gradually away from the mainland. A few scattered showers have popped up near Jacksonville, bringing brief rains to the area. Most of the region including Atlanta, Charlotte, and New Orleans remains dry with partly cloudy conditions. Coastal areas such as Miami and Tampa are enjoying clear skies today.
For this evening in Atlanta, expect partly cloudy skies with temperatures gradually decreasing from 77 degrees at 9 PM to 71 degrees by 1 AM. Winds are light from the south-southwest at 5 miles per hour. Overall, a pleasant and mild evening is anticipated with stable weather conditions.
Tonight, the Southeast will experience mild overnight lows with temperatures generally in the upper 60s to low 70s. Jacksonville will dip to 69 degrees, while Savannah is set for a low of 71.
