A line of storms is stretching from northern Alabama up to western Tennessee, bringing intense rainfall to areas like Nashville and Memphis. New Orleans is currently experiencing moderate to heavy rain moving eastward. In South Carolina, scattered light showers are beginning to emerge near Charleston and are expected to continue throughout the evening. The rest of the Southeast, including Atlanta and Jacksonville, remains mostly dry with increasing cloud cover as the front approaches.
