Across the Southeast, rain showers are making their way across Mississippi and Alabama, with Jackson and Montgomery experiencing steady precipitation. New Orleans is also seeing some rain, moving eastward. Meanwhile, cloud cover is increasing over Georgia, and Atlanta is on track for showers later today. The Gulf Coast including areas like Tampa remains calm and clear for now, offering sunny spells. Farther north, Memphis and Charlotte are largely cloud-free, enjoying dry conditions.
For this evening in Atlanta, expect clear skies with temperatures starting at 73 degrees at 9 PM, gradually cooling to 66 degrees by 1 AM. Winds will be light, coming from the southwest at 9 miles per hour.
Memphis will register a low of 41 degrees, while Nashville will dip to 39. The Jackson area will see temperatures drop to 45 degrees, and Montgomery will match that at 45 as well.
