Rain showers stretch from Jackson, Mississippi moving northeast, progressively affecting areas like Montgomery and Atlanta. Clear conditions prevail in major cities like Miami, Tampa, and Jacksonville. Cloud cover is more prominent over the Carolinas, with precipitation developing off the coast near Wilmington and heading towards Charlotte.
This evening in Atlanta, anticipate temperatures to gradually decrease from 81 degrees at 9 PM to 76 degrees by 1 AM. A few showers are likely early on, diminishing to partly cloudy skies by late evening. Winds will shift from west-southwest at 5 miles per hour to a slightly calmer 3 miles per hour.
