Jackson and Montgomery are also under moderate to heavy rain, with the weather system advancing toward Atlanta, Georgia. Coastal areas, including Savannah, are clear for now but should prepare for incoming showers. Charlotte and Jacksonville remain dry with only mild cloud coverage.
For this evening in Atlanta, expect mostly cloudy skies with temperatures gradually dropping from 67 degrees at 9 PM to 64 degrees by 1 AM.
