In the Southern Plains region, rain showers are intensifying along the Gulf Coast near Corpus Christi and New Orleans, as seen on the regional radar. El Paso and Midland are enjoying clear, sunny skies, making for a pleasant day. Cloud cover is expanding towards Little Rock and Dallas, while Oklahoma City remains under partly cloudy conditions. Snow is confined to higher elevations, particularly near the southern Colorado border, with gusty winds accompanying this wintery mix.
Afternoon in Austin features partly cloudy skies with temperatures around 80 degrees at 4 PM, ramping up slightly to 81 degrees by 6 PM. Winds remain steady from the north at 9 miles per hour. As the evening approaches, temperatures will ease down to 77 degrees by 8 PM. Plan for a pleasant afternoon with mild wind conditions.
