These conditions bring the risk of heavy rain and damaging winds. Keeping a close eye on the daily changes is crucial—check out our in-depth analysis and stay weather-aware.
The Southern Plains are largely calm with clear conditions prevailing in much of Texas and Oklahoma. Scattered showers are evident along the Gulf Coast, particularly around Corpus Christi and creeping eastward toward New Orleans. A cluster of severe storms is moving northeast out of Kansas City, promising strong winds and potential thunderstorm activity. Little Rock may begin to experience increased cloud cover as the day progresses.
Expect a sunny start in Austin tomorrow morning with temperatures at 76 degrees at 8 AM rising to 81 degrees by 10 AM. Winds will be gentle, coming from the south-southwest at 3 miles per hour as the morning progresses. By noon, temperatures reach 88 degrees with a gentle shift in wind direction.
Tomorrow in El Paso, expect a sizzling high of 104 degrees, while Midland will be just a degree cooler at 101. San Antonio also sees a warm day with temperatures reaching 101 degrees. Severe storms are expected across parts of the Southern Plains tomorrow with an unstable air mass and a cold front advancing. Oklahoma City should prepare for potentially stronger storms, while areas from Dallas to Corpus Christi will benefit from much-needed rain showers. There is a risk of severe weather, including damaging winds and heavy rainfall, especially in southeast Oklahoma extending into Arkansas. Temperatures will be warmer leading up to the storm front but expect a cooler shift once it passes by. Stay vigilant for potential weather advisories, especially through Wednesday night.
