Meanwhile, New Orleans is starting to experience increased cloud cover, hinting at the potential for light showers later today. High pressure is the main weather story for Texas, with cities like Dallas, Midland, and Corpus Christi enjoying dry conditions and clear skies. Expect breezy conditions in parts of the Texas Panhandle as systems move eastward.
