Across the Southern Plains, the regional radar reveals a scattered mix of weather conditions. In the northern sections, light snow is gradually spreading across portions of central Kansas, particularly around the areas north of Wichita. Meanwhile, mild rain showers are making their way through northwestern Oklahoma, hinting at some wet conditions around the Oklahoma City area. As we move southward, a line of moderate rainfall stretches from the outskirts of San Antonio to just west of New Orleans, suggesting damp conditions for places like Corpus Christi and Houston. The southern stretch, particularly around Dallas and El Paso, remains dry under partly cloudy skies, providing a brief respite from active weather.
Tomorrow morning in Austin will kick off with partly cloudy skies and temperatures starting at 59 degrees. By 8 AM, temperatures climb to 62 degrees as a gentle southern wind at 9 miles per hour picks up. As the morning progresses, anticipate conditions to remain partly cloudy with temperatures rising to 71 degrees by 10 AM, accompanied by a stronger south wind at 15 miles per hour.
High temperatures for the Southern Plains are shaping up to be quite warm tomorrow. In El Paso, we can expect a high of 77 degrees. Over in Midland, the mercury will rise to a sweltering 89 degrees. “Tomorrow, the Southern Plains will experience a variety of weather patterns. Expect rain showers predominantly from Dallas to Corpus Christi, which will offer beneficial moisture to the region. Oklahoma City should remain vigilant as stronger storms could develop due to the unstable air mass. “The UV index in Austin will reach a very high level of 8 both Monday and Tuesday, with a burn time of just 17 minutes. Enjoy your time outside, but be vigilant about applying sunscreen frequently and wearing hats and sunglasses to protect against the intense sun!”
