In the Midwest, radar shows a developing line of thunderstorms stretching from Kansas City towards the St. Louis area. To the south and east, Bowling Green is experiencing moderate rain as the clouds push northeast. In contrast, areas further north like Chicago and Detroit remain dry and clear for now. Cleveland, however, should prepare for rain approaching from the west. Showers are also tracking through Springfield, with more rain moving towards Indianapolis.
Temperatures in Chicago this evening will begin at 48 degrees around 9 PM, gradually dropping to 45 degrees by 1 AM. Winds are expected to be from the north-northeast at around 13 miles per hour initially, easing slightly to 8 miles per hour.
Tonight Chicago is looking at a low of 47 degrees, while Indianapolis will cool to 43. Fort Wayne is expected to drop to 40 degrees. Kansas City will stay slightly warmer at 49, but Peoria should see a brisk 46.
Tomorrow in the Midwest, we can expect a mix of mild to warm temperatures across the region. Des Moines will see a high of 78 degrees, while Kansas City reaches 77 degrees, both well above average for this time of year. St. Louis and Peoria are set for highs of 72 and 73 degrees, respectively. Indianapolis and Louisville will also enjoy pleasant temps, hitting 70 degrees. The cooler spots will be Chicago at 59 and Cleveland, coming in at 54 degrees, influenced by some lingering cloud cover.
Expect a dynamic weather pattern in the Midwest tomorrow with showers stretching from St. Louis to Indianapolis. Light rain and scattered thunderstorms are likely, particularly affecting the Ohio Valley. Temperatures will stay mild throughout the region, with cooler air moving in from the north by the afternoon.

Sunday: Expect a clear day with sunshine and a high of 73 degrees, the low will be 56 degrees. Monday: Partly cloudy conditions as the high climbs to 82 degrees with a low around 61. Tuesday: The partly cloudy trend continues, with highs reaching 75 degrees and lows at 61. Wednesday: Temperatures will rise to 77 degrees under partly cloudy skies, the night will cool to 64 degrees.
