Across the Midwest on the Regional Radar, a snow system is settled over parts of Michigan, including Saginaw, Detroit, and extending up to Cleveland. Light snow is creating a picturesque scene, with snowflakes gently covering the landscape. Meanwhile, a hint of rain is visible near the Chicago area, though conditions seem rather quiet there. For those in Indianapolis, Columbus, and Louisville, the radar reveals clearer skies with no immediate precipitation, offering a break in the weather. Farther west, cities like Kansas City, and St. Louis are enjoying calm and dry weather conditions.
In Chicago tomorrow morning, prepare for a cloudy start with temperatures beginning at 41 degrees at 7 AM. By 9 AM, the temperature rises slightly to 44 degrees with a southwest wind at 5 miles per hour. Expect a few showers to develop by 11 AM as temperatures reach 48 degrees and winds maintain at southwest 6 miles per hour.
High temperatures for the Midwest region tomorrow show a warming trend influenced by a ridge of high pressure settling into the area. In Kansas City, expect a warm high of 78 degrees. Springfield is on track for a toasty 81 degrees. St. Louis will see temperatures reaching 65 degrees, while Peoria will hit 57 degrees. Columbus and Indianapolis aren’t quite as warm, with highs around 62 and 58 degrees respectively. Over in Louisville, expect a high of 62, while further east, Charleston will enjoy a high of 66 degrees. “Over the Midwest on Wednesday, expect a mix of conditions as a weather system moves through. Light rain showers will develop across areas from Des Moines to Indianapolis, lasting into the afternoon. By late evening, showers will shift farther eastward reaching Columbus and Charleston. Temperatures remain mild for the season, but cloudy skies will dominate much of the day. Watch for potential thunderstorms in northern Missouri and central Illinois in the evening as the system passes. Stay alert for possible updates on storm activity in these areas.”
