However, the Midwest isn’t spared from fluctuations as severe storms threaten the tranquility by afternoon. The Midwest radar reveals a significant area of precipitation, with severe weather impacting southern Missouri, particularly around Springfield. Rain extends from there towards St. Louis and is pushing northeast toward Chicago. Areas like Des Moines and Kansas City are experiencing clearer skies for now. In the eastern part of the region, light rain is lingering over Cleveland and Detroit, while the surrounding areas remain mostly clear.
The forecast for tomorrow morning in Chicago shows mostly sunny skies transitioning to clear conditions. Temperatures will rise from 62 degrees at 8 a.m. to 71 degrees by noon. Winds will shift from a light northeast breeze at 3 miles per hour to a southerly flow at 5 miles per hour by midday.
