Showers are intensifying over Cleveland as patches of rain extend through Detroit, creating wet travel conditions. Chicago is under cloudy skies, with lighter rain showers approaching. A line of precipitation is beginning to develop from Peoria towards Fort Wayne, suggesting scattered showers through the afternoon. Meanwhile, cities like Indianapolis and Bowling Green are currently enjoying calmer weather, though cloud cover may increase later.
Chicago’s afternoon forecast brings cool temperatures around 54 degrees with occasional showers under mostly cloudy skies. Expect winds from the northwest at 13 miles per hour, creating a brisk and damp feel. By 6 PM, temperatures will slightly dip to 53 degrees as showers persist. As evening approaches, skies remain cloudy with temperatures easing to 52 degrees, and wind speeds dropping slightly to 12 miles per hour from the north-northwest.
