Light rain showers are developing near Bowling Green and intensifying as they move towards the Louisville area. St. Louis remains dry for now, but clouds are beginning to thicken as a sign of the approaching system. Chicago and Detroit are currently seeing clear conditions, providing a brief respite from precipitation. Cities like Indianapolis and Fort Wayne are enjoying a clear start to the day with cloud cover expected to increase later on.
Chicago will enjoy sunny skies throughout the afternoon with temperatures holding steady at 65 degrees. A gentle northeast breeze will be present, ranging from 11 to 8 miles per hour by evening.
