A quiet afternoon is anticipated for much of the Southwest. San Diego and Las Vegas continue to enjoy clear and dry conditions under a high-pressure system. Redding and San Francisco are experiencing light rain showers. The only real action is over the Sierra Nevada where there’s an uptick in high elevation snow activity.
For the afternoon hours in Los Angeles, temperatures will rise to 80 degrees by 4 PM and peak at 82 degrees by 6 PM. Expect clear skies with abundant sunshine throughout the afternoon, providing a bright and warm environment. The wind will be coming from the south-southwest at 7-8 miles per hour, keeping the air clean and comfortable. Ideal conditions for outdoor activities, so enjoy the lovely weather!
Today Phoenix is sizzling with a high of 99 degrees, while Las Vegas isn’t far behind at 95. In California, Bakersfield and Fresno both hit 91, making for a warm afternoon. Los Angeles will enjoy slightly cooler temperatures, reaching 83 degrees. San Diego stays pleasant with a high of 82. Flagstaff and Cedar City are much more mild today, both at 73.
Tonight Flagstaff will see a cool low of 42 degrees, while Las Vegas remains relatively mild at 72. In California, San Francisco is expected to reach 52 degrees, and Los Angeles will cool down to 58. Bakersfield is forecasted to drop to a pleasant 63 degrees.
High temperatures in the Southwest region tomorrow, Phoenix is forecasted to reach a high of 104 degrees, while Las Vegas will sizzle at 100 degrees. In Southern California, Los Angeles will enjoy a pleasant 85 degrees, and Bakersfield is expected to hit 95 degrees. San Diego remains mild at 82 degrees.
