A look at the Regional Radar for the Southwest reveals a dynamic weather pattern. In northern California, showers are concentrated around Redding, delivering some much-needed rain. Farther south, Fresno and Bakersfield are experiencing breaks in the precipitation, enjoying relatively dry conditions for now.. Cedar City is seeing precipitation as this system moves across the state line. Areas like Los Angeles and San Diego are experiencing a calm spell with milder conditions, keeping things dry. Flagstaff, is seeing some rain showers moving through, so locals should prepare for wetter conditions there. Over in Phoenix and Las Vegas, the skies remain clear, providing a dry start to the day.
While in Los Angeles this evening, temperatures start at 64 degrees around 8 PM and gradually decrease to 57 degrees by midnight. Expect winds from the southwest at 8 miles per hour, transitioning to a south breeze of 4 miles per hour, and then to an east-southeasterly direction at 5 miles per hour.
Now for the low temperatures in the Southwest tonight. Cedar City will also feel the cold at 31 degrees. Flagstaff is forecasted to drop to a brisk 29 degrees. Las Vegas will have a milder low of 54, while Phoenix stays warmer at 58 degrees. Los Angeles is looking at a cool 51 degrees, with San Diego just a bit warmer at 53. Bakersfield will also see a low of 51 degrees.
Here’s the regional high temperature rundown for the Southwest this Saturday: In Phoenix, expect a warm high of 82 degrees as a ridge of high pressure sets up over the area. Las Vegas will see a noticeably pleasant afternoon with highs reaching 76 degrees, aligning with typical March temperatures. Moving to Southern California, Los Angeles is forecasted to hit 65 degrees, while San Diego will be slightly cooler at 63 degrees. In the Central Valley, Fresno will enjoy a comfortable high of 68 degrees, very much on par with seasonal averages. Further north, San Francisco is projected for a cooler day at 59 degrees, and Redding will see a high of 64 degrees.
“On the Southwest futurecast, expect mostly dry and sunny conditions across the desert regions through tomorrow. However, the Pacific Northwest will continue to send impulses of rain southward into Northern California, leading to bouts of rain, particularly in coastal areas. The Sierra Nevada could see light snow flurries, impacting travel over higher passes. Keep an eye on the forecast for any weather adjustments as we head farther into the week, especially mountain travelers.”

Wednesday: A mix of sun and clouds as it warms slightly to 62 degrees during the day, cooling to 49 at night. Thursday: Expect partly cloudy conditions with a high of 60 degrees and a low of 49 degrees.
