Stormy conditions are flaring up across the Southwest region, with Redding experiencing severe weather, while clouds are moving into Salt Lake City. Rain showers are spreading over Fresno, bringing some much-needed moisture. Reno has a few clouds in the area.
In Los Angeles tomorrow morning, temperatures will start at 62 degrees under mostly cloudy skies with calm winds. By 10 AM, expect a slight increase to 63 degrees with the clouds persisting, keeping conditions calm. As the day progresses, the clouds will begin to break, moving to mostly sunny skies by noon when temperatures rise to 68 degrees.
Tomorrow in Phoenix, temperatures will soar to a scorching 111 degrees, well above average for this time of year. Las Vegas isn’t far behind, reaching a high of 106, as heat advisories remain in effect. Bakersfield is expected to hit 99 degrees, and Fresno isn’t far off at 98. Los Angeles will enjoy a mild 81 degrees. San Francisco will be 65, as coastal influences keep temperatures down.
Prepare for a relatively calm weather pattern across the Southwest tomorrow. Expect largely sunny skies with temperatures climbing into the high 90s, especially in desert regions like Phoenix and Las Vegas. Some isolated showers are possible in the southern mountain areas of Arizona, but significant precipitation is unlikely. Keep an eye out for dry air and elevated fire weather conditions persisting, particularly across parts of New Mexico and Southern California.
The UV index for Los Angeles is very high on Monday with a level of 11, resulting in a burn time of just 11 minutes. On Tuesday, the index drops slightly to 10, but it’s still very intense, with a burn time of 12 minutes.

Friday: Expect mostly clear skies, temperatures peaking again at 75 degrees, cooling down to 62 degrees overnight.
Saturday: Clear and sunny, with a daytime high of 75 degrees and a nightly low of 62 degrees.
Sunday: Wrapping up the week with mostly clear weather, reaching a high of 74 degrees and a low of 63 degrees.
