Farther south, cities like San Francisco are seeing cloud cover, while areas around Fresno are currently calm and dry. Los Angeles and San Diego remain mild, with skies mostly clear, setting up for a pleasant evening.
Eastern Nevada, is experiencing a mix of light rain and snow.
For Cedar City, light snow is drifting softly across the higher terrains in Utah. Phoenix and Flagstaff preserve dry and clear skies.

Expect a changing weather pattern across the Southwest on Sunday. The high-pressure system offers clear and sunny conditions to Arizona and New Mexico, with temperatures rising into the low 80s. Meanwhile, Southern California, particularly the San Diego area, will experience a mix of clouds and sun with occasional light rain showers, leading to wet roads and potential delays. Towards the late evening Sunday, a weak cold front approaches Northern California, bringing scattered rain showers. Keep an eye on the conditions, especially in elevated areas where gusty winds may enhance the chill.
“The UV index in Los Angeles is a high of 7 on both Saturday and Sunday, meaning sun protection is crucial. Expect a burn time of about 20 minutes in direct sunlight, so be sure to apply sunscreen and wear protective clothing if you’re spending time outdoors!”
