For the Southwest region, the regional radar paints a dynamic picture of weather activity. A significant band of rain is swirling across the California coast, stretching from San Francisco down to Los Angeles, offering some much-needed moisture to these areas. Redding is feeling the impact with consistent rainfall, extending towards the northwestern corner of Nevada near Reno. As we move inland, showers are trailing into the central valley around Fresno and Bakersfield. Meanwhile, the higher elevations of northern Nevada are holding on to winter with some light snow showers. Skies over Salt Lake City appear to be cloudy but dry for now. Cedar City is experiencing a wintry mix. Flagstaff is likely to experience some light snow showers, winter just won’t quit. Las Vegas stands out with its dry forecast, where the sky is mostly clear, providing a break from the active weather elsewhere. Lastly, Phoenix stays free of precipitation, with mild temperatures expected under mostly clear skies.
In Los Angeles tomorrow morning, expect a cloudy start with occasional showers. Temperatures will begin at 55 degrees at 7 AM, gradually rising to 57 degrees by 11 AM. A light southeast wind will persist, beginning at 4 miles per hour and increasing slightly to 5 miles per hour as the morning progresses. Keep those umbrellas handy and prepare for a damp commute!

Northern California faces more rain, especially in the valleys. Be cautious of slick roads and potentially tricky driving conditions over higher terrains. Temperatures remain mild but will drop slightly after the front passes. Keep alert for weather advisories as the storm system progresses.”
