A band of rain is currently spreading over parts of Arizona, moving towards Flagstaff and Phoenix, with some isolated showers reaching into Southern Nevada near Las Vegas. These rain showers provide a refreshing break from the otherwise dry conditions common in the region. Moving up north, light snow is visible in the upper elevations of Northern Nevada, around Ely, adding a wintry touch to the scenery. Clear skies dominate Northern California, from Redding to Fresno, while the coastal cities like San Diego and Los Angeles remain dry. Clouds are gathering over the Salt Lake City area in Utah, but conditions remain calm for now.
Expect a calm start to your Wednesday morning in Los Angeles with cloudy skies and temperatures at 58 degrees by 8 AM. As the morning progresses, there will be a mix of clouds and sunshine, maintaining a calm wind pattern with continued temperatures of 58 degrees by 10 AM.
High temperatures in the Southwest region are expected to soar above average tomorrow. Phoenix leads with a sizzling 95 degrees, while Las Vegas is forecasted at 89 degrees. In California, Bakersfield will hit 93 degrees, making it one of the hottest spots in the area. Los Angeles enjoys a milder day at 77 degrees, and San Francisco remains cooler at 67 degrees.
In the Southwest, expect a tranquil day with mostly clear skies dominating the region. Temperatures will gradually warm through the day, bringing a pleasant spring feel. Keep an eye on the increasing cloud cover late in the evening, particularly along the coastal areas of Southern California. An approaching system from the Pacific may bring some light rain overnight into early Thursday.
