A robust system is bringing rain and severe weather to the Northern California area, particularly Redding, where storms are currently active. Moving eastward, Ely is also seeing showers as the system tracks toward Salt Lake City. The rain in Reno is providing a much-needed respite as cloud cover extends southward toward Fresno. Bakersfield and Las Vegas, however, remain under clear skies with no precipitation. The radar shows cloudless conditions for San Diego, Los Angeles, and Phoenix.
Tomorrow morning in Los Angeles, temperatures begin at 52 degrees with a light east-southeast breeze at 3 mph. By 10 AM, temps rise to 54 degrees with mostly cloudy skies and an east-southeast breeze at 3 mph.
