Clouds and precipitation are present eastward, especially around Ely, and light snow is even showing up in the higher elevations on this May first! Northern Nevada and Utah high country, including areas near Cedar City, are seeing patches of snow. San Francisco and Redding have overcast skies but remain dry. Las Vegas and Phoenix continue to experience dry weather with clear skies.
Temperatures in Los Angeles this afternoon are steady around 65 degrees, with partly cloudy skies offering some sunshine. Winds from the south-southwest at 7 to 8 miles per hour provide a gentle breeze. This calm and pleasant pattern continues into the evening.
Today, the Southwest region is experiencing a warm and sunny day. Phoenix is heating up with a sizzling high of 92 degrees, while Las Vegas reaches a pleasant 84.
