The Southwest regional radar is showcasing varied weather activity today. At the top of the map, Redding and Reno are experiencing cloud cover and rain showers moving in from the Pacific. To the north, closer to Salt Lake City, clear weather prevails for now, though conditions could shift. In central California, San Francisco and Fresno are observing rain as moisture pushes inland, providing the Central Valley with much-needed relief. Light rain is also falling over Bakersfield. Snow is developing in higher elevations, such as near Cedar City, surrounding mountain ranges offer a wintery mix, but the city itself is seeing mostly cloudy skies. Down the coastline, Los Angeles and San Diego experience drier conditions, only light drizzle occasionally interrupting the otherwise mild day, and southwards, Las Vegas continues to dodge precipitation and remains dry. Over in Arizona, Flagstaff is under the spell of chilly weather, with light snow showers.
In Los Angeles, tomorrow morning kicks off with partly cloudy skies and calm conditions. Temperatures start at 57 degrees at 7 AM, gently dipping to 56 degrees by 9 AM, before rising to 64 degrees at 11 AM. A calm weather pattern continues, making it a pleasant start to the day.
High temperatures for the Southwest tomorrow are set to soar above average, with several cities experiencing significant warmth. Las Vegas is expected to reach a sizzling 90 degrees. Moving to California, Bakersfield is forecasted to hit 91 degrees, and Fresno isn’t far behind at 88 degrees. Los Angeles will see a comfortable high of 76 degrees, whereas San Francisco will remain cooler at 78 degrees. In Arizona, Phoenix is looking to be particularly hot, with a high around 99 degrees. Flagstaff will be a bit more temperate at 71 degrees. Cedar City, Utah, rounds out the forecast with highs expected to reach 72 degrees.
