Diving into the radar for the Southwest region, we can see that Ely is under significant snowfall, which extends eastward towards the Wasatch Range near Salt Lake City. Flagstaff is experiencing light snow showers adding a wintry touch to the cool temperatures. Clear skies dominate much of California, including San Francisco and Los Angeles, providing a pleasant, calm situation for these areas. San Diego maintains mild conditions, with no precipitation on the immediate horizon.
The morning in Los Angeles will start with partly cloudy skies, temperatures beginning around 52 degrees at 8 AM, rising to 54 degrees by 10 AM. Expect calm wind conditions throughout the morning. By midday, the clouds clear for sunny skies and temperatures reaching 61 degrees.
Tomorrow, the Southwest will experience above-average temperatures as warm air moves in. Los Angeles is set for a pleasant high of 70 degrees, while Bakersfield and Fresno will feel the heat with highs reaching 84 degrees. Las Vegas will also hit 84, making it a warm day in the desert.
