Greetings Californians and visitors! Meteorologist Amy Freeze here with an expansive look at your weather for the upcoming days. Tomorrow in Los Angeles, anticipate pleasantly mild conditions with a partial cloud cover, making it an excellent opportunity for outdoor activities. Furthermore, explore the temperature highs and lows around the Southwest, find out if rain showers will affect your area and prepare ahead with our detailed 7-day forecast. In the Southwest region, the radar shows scattered rain showers approaching Redding from the Pacific, providing a refresh for those coastal areas. These showers extend into northern California, particularly around Redding, and trek toward the Sierra Nevada. Meanwhile, Nevada remains dry under mainly clear skies. Salt Lake City shows overcast conditions but without precipitation at the moment. Las Vegas and Phoenix are experiencing dry conditions. Flagstaff anticipates potential snow showers, adding a wintry mix. Up north, Cedar City is looking relatively cloudy but dry.
“Tomorrow morning in Los Angeles, anticipate partly cloudy skies throughout the early hours. Temperatures will begin at 54 degrees at 7 AM, cooling slightly to 52 degrees by 9 AM, and then rising to 58 degrees by 11 AM. Calm weather conditions can be expected, providing a pleasant start to the day.”
High temperatures for tomorrow in the Southwest are looking Spring-like. The coastal areas are experiencing more mild conditions. San Diego will have a pleasant high of 70 degrees, while Los Angeles is set for 72 degrees. Farther inland, Fresno will warm up to 74 degrees, and Bakersfield will see a high of 75 degrees.In Las Vegas, we’re anticipating a high of 83 degrees, which is above the seasonal average. Phoenix is set to warm up to a scorching 87 degrees, well above normal for this time of year. Overall, the warm weather will be driven by high pressure building over the region, pushing temperatures higher across much of the Southwest.
“Across the Southwest, keep an eye on the Pacific coast. Northern California will see several rounds of valley rain into tomorrow. Clouds will be few and far between for the southern half of the state. Southern California, stays dry with temperatures going warmer than average for this time of year.”
The UV index in Los Angeles will be high at 7 for both Saturday and Sunday. This means you’ll want to be cautious if you’re planning outdoor activities, as the burn time is around 20 minutes.

Thursday: Partly cloudy skies, reaching a high of 66 degrees and dropping to a low of 50 degrees. Friday: The week wraps up with partly cloudy conditions and a high of 65 degrees, the low again is 50 degrees.
