The Southwest regional radar reveals a complex weather pattern. In northern California, rain showers are sweeping inland toward areas like Redding and Reno. The Sierra Nevada Mountains are experiencing mixed precipitation, with snow in higher elevations near Ely, creating a picturesque winter scene. Las Vegas and the southern desert areas, including Phoenix, remain under clear skies, offering sunny conditions for outdoor activities. Down on the coast, San Francisco may see isolated rain showers, while San Diego enjoys a dry and pleasant evening.
This evening in Los Angeles, expect cloudy skies with temperatures starting at 67 degrees at 9 PM, cooling to 61 degrees by 1 AM. Winds will be coming from the south, starting at 7 mph and easing to 4 mph as the night progresses. A mostly cloudy pattern will continue after 11 PM, offering a mild and calm evening atmosphere.
Tonight Las Vegas will see a low of 75 degrees, while Phoenix remains warmer at 76. Flagstaff is expected to drop to a cooler 46 degrees, a notable decrease compared to recent nights. In the southern California area, Los Angeles is forecasted to cool down to 60 degrees and San Diego will also sit at 60. San Francisco will have a low of 52 degrees, reflecting a brisk trend in the region.
Tomorrow in the Southwest, expect notably high temperatures, with many areas well above average. Las Vegas and Phoenix are both set to reach a sizzling 100 degrees.
