The radar indicates a calm weather pattern across most of the Southwest region, with clear conditions prevailing in major areas like Los Angeles, San Francisco, and San Diego. Light precipitation is noted near Salt Lake City, possibly bringing some rain to the area. Reno and Ely enjoy clear skies, while Phoenix and Las Vegas remain dry and sunny. Snowfall activity is centered around Flagstaff, suggesting a chillier experience in that region. Fresno, Bakersfield, and Redding also share in the clear, dry conditions.
This evening in Los Angeles, temperatures start warm at 85 degrees around 9 PM with a southwest wind blowing at 6 miles per hour. By 11 PM, expect temperatures to drop to a pleasant 79 degrees under clear skies. Tonight, the Southwest will experience some notably cooler temperatures. Flagstaff is dropping to a brisk 44 degrees, while Reno cools down to 56 degrees. In Las Vegas, expect a low of 57 degrees, a marked shift from the warm day. Phoenix will remain relatively mild at 79 degrees, but that’s still significantly cooler than the previous nights. An active weather pattern is expected tomorrow across the Southwest, particularly impacting the Four Corners region. Localized flooding is possible due to heavy rain, especially in areas prone to flash flooding. Daytime temperatures will generally range in the 60s and 70s, cooler than average due to cloud cover and precipitation. Expect clearing skies and a return to warmer conditions by late Friday into the weekend.
The UV index in Los Angeles will be very high at 10 for both Friday and Saturday, indicating intense sun exposure risk with a burn time of just 12 minutes. It’s crucial to apply a high SPF sunscreen, wear a hat, and seek shade during peak hours to protect your skin.
