Flagstaff is experiencing snow showers, while the surrounding areas of northern Arizona also see precipitation. The Pacific coast, including Los Angeles and San Francisco, remains clear, providing some respite from previous wet conditions. Light rain is approaching Fresno, while Reno stays dry under partly cloudy skies. Ely, situated in Nevada, experiences a mostly calm and clear day.
For the afternoon in Los Angeles, you can expect sunny conditions with temperatures steady at 70 degrees, gradually dipping to 68 degrees by 7 PM. Winds are mild from the south-southwest at 8 miles per hour, easing slightly as the evening approaches.
This afternoon, the Southwest sees some contrasting temperatures. In Phoenix, expect a high of 86 degrees, while Las Vegas warms up to 83. Farther west, San Diego remains cooler at 69 degrees, contrasting sharply with the warmth seen inland. Bakersfield will hit 84 degrees and Fresno is close behind at 83. Flagstaff stands out with a much cooler high of 53, highlighting the variability across the region.
Flagstaff is expected to see a low of 36 degrees, while Ely drops to a brisk 30 degrees, it’s chilly. Las Vegas will have a milder low at 67 degrees, but cities like San Diego and Los Angeles will settle around 55 degrees. Fresno is forecasted to cool down to 57 degrees, while Bakersfield will hit 59 degrees.
Phoenix will see a significant high of 91 degrees, while Las Vegas is set to reach 87 degrees. Bakersfield and Fresno will experience warm afternoons with highs of 86 and 85 degrees, respectively. San Diego remains milder at 68 degrees, and San Francisco will be cooler at 63 degrees.
A high-pressure system is dominating the Southwest, keeping skies mostly clear with plenty of sunshine. Expect temperatures to rise near 85°F tomorrow. While the desert areas remain dry, the western fringes near the coast might see a few passing clouds with negligible rain chances. No severe weather threats are forecasted, ensuring safe travel across the region. As the high pressure eases, anticipate a gradual cooling trend by midweek.
