This afternoon in Los Angeles, temperatures will climb to 74 degrees by 4 PM with mostly sunny skies and a light breeze from the south-southwest at 7 miles per hour. By 6 PM, the temperature rises slightly to 75 degrees under mostly sunny conditions, with winds picking up to 8 miles per hour. As we reach 8 PM, expect clear skies with temperatures easing down to 73 degrees, while the gentle breeze continues.
In the Southwest today, we’re seeing some significant heat. Phoenix is sizzling with a high of 106 degrees, while Las Vegas will reach a much warmer 95. Over in Bakersfield, expect a toasty high of 103 degrees. San Diego remains relatively moderate at 77, contrasting sharply with the higher temperatures inland. Cedar City hits a pleasant 83 degrees.
Tonight expect a chilly 50 degrees in Flagstaff, while Ely will see a low of 51. Las Vegas remains relatively warm at 60, but Los Angeles cools down to 61 degrees. Phoenix will wrap up the night at 84.
Tomorrow in Phoenix, expect a high of 101 degrees, continuing a trend of above-average temperatures. Las Vegas will reach 100 degrees, showcasing the typical summer heat for the region. Bakersfield is set to soar to 104 degrees, slightly above seasonal norms. Los Angeles will enjoy a more moderate high of 78 degrees. San Diego will be cooler at 75 degrees, providing a respite from the intense heat inland.
