On the Regional Radar, clear skies dominate much of the Southwest region with a few exceptions. Northern Nevada, including areas around Ely, is experiencing clouds at times. Salt Lake City has sunshine. Southern Arizona remain largely dry, maintaining their clear conditions.
For this evening in Los Angeles, temperatures will start at 70 degrees at 9 PM with a southwest wind at 8 mph and mostly sunny skies. By 11 PM, expect partly cloudy conditions as the temperature dips to 65 degrees with breezes shifting south at 7 mph. At 1 AM, the temperature will further decrease to 62 degrees under partly cloudy skies with a south wind at 5 mph.
Tonight, temperatures will drop significantly across the Southwest. San Francisco will cool down to a chilly 53 degrees, while Fresno will see a low of 70. Las Vegas remains warmer at 84 degrees, but Flagstaff will feel the dip with a low of 58. Expect LA to settle at 61 degrees and Bakersfield at 74, offering a mild evening compared to the cooler coastal areas.
Tomorrow in the Southwest, we’re looking at sizzling temperatures. Las Vegas is set to reach a blistering 112 degrees, while Phoenix will be hot on its heels at 110 degrees. In California, Bakersfield is hitting 105 degrees, and Fresno isn’t far behind at 104 degrees. San Diego remains a bit cooler with a high of 77, but still above average for this time of year. In contrast, San Francisco will experience a mild day at just 65 degrees.
The Southwest is set to experience largely clear and sunny conditions tomorrow. However, Northern California will encounter several rounds of valley rain from late Tuesday into Wednesday, accompanied by the risk of slick roads and reduced visibility over mountain passes. In Southern California, particularly in the San Bernardino Valley, expect heavy showers potentially causing hazardous driving conditions. The weather pattern remains dry and warm for the desert areas, while coastal regions should prepare for possible disruptions due to precipitation.
